These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Planeta Guru platform (hereinafter, "the Platform"). By accessing and using the platform, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, so we encourage you to read them carefully. If you do not agree with the terms, please refrain from using this site.
1. Definitions
Platform: The online service available at https://planeta.guru/ that offers digital content and products to users.
Planeta Guru: ITBAF, S.A. DE C.V.
User: Any person who accesses, uses, or registers on the platform.
GURUs: Virtual currency or reward points that users can purchase, accumulate, and exchange for use on the platform.
2. Acceptance of the Terms
Accessing and using the Platform constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions in their entirety. If you do not agree with any provision, you must refrain from using the platform. Continued use of the Platform implies your explicit acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
3. Service Availability and Geographic Limitations
The Planeta Guru platform (https://planeta.guru/) is intended for users located in specific geographic areas; therefore, this site and its services may not be available in all regions. We reserve the right to restrict access at any time at our discretion.
The user is responsible for ensuring that using the site and its services is legal in the territory from which they attempt to access the Platform.
The use of tools such as VPNs or proxies to access the service from outside these areas is expressly prohibited. In case of discrepancies between different language versions, the Spanish version shall prevail.
The Platform will be available only to the designated territories at all times; however, access may be interrupted or temporarily suspended at any time without any liability.
All users are required to disclose their place of residence. By accepting these Terms and Conditions, the user authorizes the platform to use the necessary tools to detect the network device's location based on the country from which the account is registered and subscribed.
4. Management of Personal Data and Privacy
Planeta Guru complies with applicable data protection regulations in accordance with the legislation in force in the country from which the site is accessed.
The personal data we collect will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which describes the data collected, the method of collection, and the rights associated with this information, including access, rectification, cancellation, and opposition (ARCO) rights.
The user agrees that by accessing the Platform, they consent to the processing of their personal data in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
5. Responsibility for Purchased Products
The user is responsible for ensuring that their device meets the technical requirements necessary to use the products or services offered through the Platform. The technical specification for each product will detail these requirements. Planeta Guru does not guarantee the continuous and uninterrupted availability of the service nor accept responsibility for potential technical faults or interruptions.
Once a product is purchased, returns or refunds will not be accepted unless there are defects in the digital file or content provided.
Planeta Guru does not guarantee uninterrupted and error-free availability of the digital products offered.
Planeta Guru shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the platform.
6. Registration and Subscription to Planeta Guru
a) User Registration
To access the services provided through the platform, the user must register and create an account. During registration, mandatory data such as a username, email address, and a password meeting security standards (minimum of 8 characters including uppercase, lowercase, and numbers) will be requested. The user may optionally provide their phone number.
b) Access Without Registration
Unregistered users can browse the platform’s catalog. However, to enjoy additional services and functionalities of Planeta Guru, creating an account is mandatory.
c) Subscription to Planeta Guru+
Users can subscribe to Planeta Guru+ through their mobile phone, using Telcel in Mexico or Movistar in Argentina, with weekly or monthly subscriptions.
Users with an active subscription will have unlimited access, at no extra cost, to all available games in the catalog. Users with an inactive subscription can reactivate their subscription via their mobile number or purchase GURU packs using a credit or debit card to obtain a Guru Box or games in their Guru Wallet.
d) GURU Wallet
Upon completing the registration process, the user will gain access to the "My GURU Wallet" feature, where they can manage their transactions, including the activation, renewal, or cancellation of the Planeta Guru+ subscription, as well as the purchase of GURU packs through authorized payment platforms and the acquisition of a Guru Box or games.
e) Acceptance of Terms and Conditions
To finalize registration and/or subscription, the user must accept the Platform’s Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, and any other applicable legal document. Subscription via mobile implies additional acceptance of the respective operator’s specific terms and conditions.
f) Incomplete Registrations
If a user does not complete the registration process, they will not be able to associate their Planeta Guru+ subscription with their mobile phone. However, this will not prevent them from accessing alternatives such as purchasing GURU packs or games through other authorized payment methods.
g) Account Restrictions
Planeta Guru reserves the right to deny, suspend, or cancel the registration and/or subscription of any user who does not provide the required information or who may pose a potential risk of harm to the platform or third parties.
7. Subscription Fees for Planeta Guru+
a) Subscription Cost and Payment Method
Telcel Users (Mexico):The service costs $30 MXN (Thirty pesos 00/100 MXN) including VAT per week, with automatic renewal. Payment will be made via invoice for contract users or through deduction from the mobile balance.
Movistar Users (Argentina):The service costs $1350 ARS (one thousand three hundred fifty) including VAT per month, with automatic renewal. Payment will be made via invoice for postpaid users or through deduction from the balance for prepaid users.
b) Automatic Renewal and Cancellation
The subscription will be automatically charged at the end of the respective period (weekly or monthly) and will be suspended or canceled when the user cancels their subscription via their mobile operator.
c) Modification of Fees
Planeta Guru reserves the right to modify the subscription price at any time. Such modifications will be notified to users with sufficient advance notice before taking effect. If a user does not agree with the new costs, they may cancel their subscription in accordance with the established procedures.
d) Cost of GURUs
The price of GURUs will be determined and published on the platform, leaving it to the user to decide whether to purchase them using the enabled payment methods.
8. Personal Use and Prohibition of Resale
The products and services offered on the platform are intended solely for personal use, and any resale, distribution, or commercial use is strictly prohibited.
Any attempt at unauthorized resale, distribution, or transfer may result in the suspension or cancellation of the user’s account without a refund, and the user will be subject to applicable legal consequences.
9. Cancellation of Registration or Planeta Guru+ Subscription
a) Subscription Cancellation
The user may cancel their active subscription through the following channels:
Telcel Users (Mexico):- By sending a text message (SMS) with the word "SALIR" to the number 99910.
- By calling 1-800-0772623 (toll-free from a landline or with local charges from a Telcel number) Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 18:00.
- By sending a message via WhatsApp to the number +52 55 1568 1326.
- By sending a text message (SMS) with the word "BAJA" to the number 99910.
- By sending a message via WhatsApp to the number +52 55 1568 1326.
b) Account Deletion
The user may request the deletion of their registered account by:
- Sending an email to clientes@planeta.guru.
- Sending a message via WhatsApp to the number +52 55 1568 1326.
10. Change and Refund Policy
The user is entitled to request changes or refunds in accordance with the applicable consumer protection legislation based on their jurisdiction. Planeta Guru reserves the right to offer refunds only in GURUs unless otherwise specified for a specific product.
11. Validity and Use of GURUs
The accumulated GURUs have a limited validity, subject to the conditions specified on the platform; GURUs are non-transferable.
In the event of the user’s account deletion, all GURUs will be permanently lost unless the deletion is due to a technical fault attributable to Planeta Guru.
12. Dispute Resolution
In the event of disputes arising from the use of the Platform or the interpretation of these Terms and Conditions, the user and Planeta Guru agree to attempt to resolve them amicably.
If no agreement is reached, the parties will submit to the competent courts of Mexico City, unless the applicable legislation in the country from which the platform is accessed provides otherwise.
13. Platform Security
The user is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account and password. Planeta Guru recommends using secure passwords and updating them periodically. Planeta Guru is not responsible for unauthorized access due to user negligence in securing their account.
14. Modifications to the Terms and Conditions
Planeta Guru reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Modifications will be communicated to users with reasonable advance notice before taking effect. Continued use of the platform after notification of new terms implies the user's explicit consent to such changes.
15. Limitation of Liability
Planeta Guru and its licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the platform, including but not limited to loss of data, profit, or service interruption.
16. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with applicable laws and under the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Mexico City, without prejudice to any conflict of law provisions.

By using the platform, the user declares that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions in their entirety. It is the user's responsibility to review these Terms and Conditions periodically to stay informed of any changes. If the user disagrees with any provision, they must immediately cease using the platform.
