First they will beat you on price and later on quality (just as Japan has done) Worst thing about them is usually their carbs and rubber parts. Other than that they are generally fairly solid engines.
SEMI, you'll be fine with that Powermore engine. It's probably better than a comparable briggs or kohler today. My main concern with your mower would be the transaxle.

Those Chinese Powermore engines are great. They're far quieter, more efficient, start easier, run better and are more reliable than those old Tecumsehs ever were. Most likely, much like the Kohler Chinese push mower engines (XH7?) you will be able to get a whole engine, a whole carb, air filter, gas tank..but no other loose parts or sub assemblies.

Another big issue is parts availability. If its something like a 212 or 208cc engine you can get parts for the rest of the engine but if its something unusual forget about it. Parts specific to the equipment you pretty much cant get.
