Face Shield With Hearing Protection
Hello, I've been using the Split face tool (looking like a little tv screen) to add some differents materials to some part of the ceiling. Now i want to edit that shape because the project changed but i can't select that "Face Split" anymore. How can i acheive that ? Or how do i delete what i've cr...
Select the elements from the face based families (geometry, reference planes, parametric dimensions), CRTL+C, and CTRL+V align to view on the non-host family. Re-constrain and add whatever is missing. The inner object is the one I'm trying to change.
If I could scale the blue face smaller, I could get the effect I want. But whenever I try to scale the face, the whole object gets selected and scaled instead. The effect I'm going for is that of a shallow depression that isn't steep.
I want the curve to extend further into the object. Hi all, I just got started learning how T-splines work and I'm not sure what keywords to search/resources to use for help. My model has an open front (screenshot 1) and I would like to close it like what is seen in the second screenshot.
How would I go about doing this? And if you have any tips/re... I'm new to 3ds max as of today. I need to connect one side of this mesh to the other.
How can I select vertices and create faces from them? Like this picture... Thanks for any and all help! I have a Face Hosted family instance, if i delete the Host parent Element, the face based family instance got
See my screenshots for reference. There is a plan view, section view, & elevation view included. I am trying to host face-based boxes to the face of a balcony in a theater.
This balcony face is within the linked architectural model. The balcony face is angled (as you can see in the section view) and also curved (as seen in plan). Eliminate Steps with Distance from Face Save time with the new extents option Distance from Face.
Use Distance from Face in the Extrude dialog box to start an extrusion from a face or workplane with a distance. Distance from Face creates a copy of the selected face along the extruded direction. Additionally, modifying the geometry becomes easier.
I'm totally new to this and can't find a solution anywhere about this problem. I'm trying to select faces however it will not select the faces that I want. The reason for that error, is Face Profiling doesn't support bosses in the ID direction.
I modified your Model override sketch to remove it, so you can see it generates when you do: I would go with Face Grooving like @a.laasW8M6T suggested. OR... use the new Groove Finishing toolpath, but with multiple passes, which also doesn't require any additional sketches to contain the toolpath: In ...
