Fels Naptha Vs Zote

Many folks didnt have access to Fels Naptha, one of our original ingredients, and wanted to know whether or not they could use Zote in its place. So we accepted the challenge, and we made both, side by side to test. Zote and Fels Naptha are two popular laundry soap bars that have been in existence for well over a century. Both soaps are effective at removing tough stains and whitening clothes, but they have some key differences. I prefer Fels Naptha for making laundry detergent. For some reason the Zote left an odd film in my washing machine. I didn't use the whole bar because it was so much larger by weight.
