Magic: The Gathering (aka Shandalar, MTG, Magic: Die Zusammenkunft, ) is a video game published in 1997 on Windows by MicroProse Software, Inc.. It's a strategy game, set in a cards, fantasy, real-time, turn-based, licensed title and trading / collectible card themes. We're dedicated to resurrecting the OldSchool Magic the Gathering game Shandalar.

This sub allows content related to Shandalar, the classic Microprose PC game. Feel free to post strategies, decklists, and other content. This is an updated version of MAGIC: THE GATHERING "SHANDALAR" from the old "Duels of the Planeswalkers" video game, circa 1995.

This version has been modified to install and play on new... You can download all the content of a branch via the "Code" button here on Github. You can then either clone the repository or simply download the selected branch content as a ZIP file.

Important: You always download the entire branch content! You can then use the files locally on your hard drive. The last major challenge involves expanding the Shandalar portion of the game. It is now understood how to do this---it involves expanding arrays using assembly language---but no competent programmer has yet been willing to spend the time."

It could be as simple as updating the "no GDI batching" fix in the former version.
