Skyrim Spouse Dialogue Missing
Skyrim Spouse Glitch (Fixed) After marrying my spouse doesn't get any additional dialogue. I can't ask them about the store, food, changing houses, etc. In terms of dialogue options it seems the exact seem prior to marriage.
Got married and for some odd reason I can't interact with my spouse? Basically they give me the same dialogue as normal, none of the marriage stuff whatsoever. Tested with different characters and have reloaded. I am using the Wyrmstooth mod, would that affect anything?
Anybody have any idea how to get spouse spoken and other dialog options restored? I managed to successfully remarry my NPC developed through the NPC Editor but never got the option to move him into my house and he never says, "Yes My Love" or any such thing any more, as though we're not really ma... During the marriage scene, Maramal asks my spouse the question but before he/she can answer, it immediately skips and then Maramal asks my dragonborn the question. Once inside, talk to Maramal and chat about Mara and weddings, and he asks if the Dragonborn knows how marriage works in Skyrim.
After an explanation, the Dragonborn can purchase an Amulet of Mara for 200 gold. There was only the regular dialogue, nothing having to do with marriage. I don't know if it's because of my previous mod, and I do have 'Improved Adoptions' installed, which COULD conflict with spouses.
I looked into it, and it seems as though Vorstag is one of the NPCs that didn't get new Hearthfire dialogue based on the fact that he can't become a steward. Don't worry though, you're not missing out on much- it's literally just one line of dialogue. I want to marry Lydia, I already bought the amulet with maramal (3 TIMES) and still, the dialogue option is not showing up.
I tested it with other npcs in the game who can be spouses, but none of them showed the dialogue option either. Unless the mod making you able to marry Serana provided dialogue, no marriage dialogue, or any sort of dialogue relating to marriage or being married, will appear for her, as in the vanilla game she is not marriageable and therefore has no marriage dialogue of any kind. The dialogue options not showing is because of too many mods installed for the Engine to handle.
Engine Fixes fixes this, but you need to configure it for it to work.
