Bmw E46 M3 Trailing Arm Difference

Looking on realoem i can see that the e46 M3 and Z4M have different part numbers for the rear trailing arms, however I got an e46 M3 trailing arm that fits in there and that had the same number written on it as my broken trailing arm, which i find bizzare.

In all honesty I think what really make a difference is the Ireland spacer things with them there rubber to urethane doesn't matter the arm has nowhere to go. They call them Rear Trailing Arm Bushing Reinforcement for E36 and E46 $40 from their site www.bmw2002.com Rear trailing arm bushing reinforcement.
