Bmw g650 gs I have a 2013 BMW G650GS with one tooth more on the countershaft, windshield, vario bags. It will run all day at 80 and more if the big bikes show up. If your riding solo this bike will do it all. I would want a bigger platform for two up. Did a little over 13,000 in twenty days without a problem. Easy on gas and tires.

I am considering buying a dual-sport bike. I have watched endless youtube reviews and comps. AFAIK, in the dual-sport category, there are those which fall more towards off-road (eg DRZ400, CRF450L, etc) and those which are more on-road worthy (eg KLR650, DR650, G650GS, etc). I have come across a 2009 BMW g650gs with a very very low mileage (like 2K). Here is my pros and cons.

I am considering buying a dual-sport bike. I have watched endless youtube reviews and comps. AFAIK, in the dual-sport category, there are those which fall more towards off-road (eg DRZ400, CRF450L, etc) and those which are more on-road worthy (eg KLR650, DR650, G650GS, etc). I have come across a 2009 BMW g650gs with a very very low mileage (like 2K). Here is my pros and cons.

Hello all. I plan to buy a used G650GS in the near future as a bigger motorcycle after passing my test. I was hoping that, with all the experience on this forum, you might have some tips about issues and things to watch out for on used machines. I'll be looking mainly at 2011.
