Does Deku have ADHD In case you don't know, ADHD is attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder. Not only is Izuku shy af, but he's also super anxious and mutters to himself a lot. Let's start with Deku's mumbling. This is a form of stimulation that many people with ADHD do. People with ADHD tend to talk to themselves and can lose themselves in their own minds, growing unaware of the people around them as they mumble. This can drive many people insane, which it does in Deku's case.

I'm not totally sold on Deku but I definitely think Shoto is neurodivergent. If not autism, I think he may have Asperger's because of him being unable to identify sarcasm and certain figures of speech. I feel like ADHD might be more accurate (ik I certainly go on tangents and hyperfocus on things like he does) but both neurodivergencies have a lot of overlap so I can see it.
