Dart Harbour berths and facilities are well signposted and masters/skippers should take account of any restrictions when berthing. In particular, some berths may only be used with the Harbour Master's express permission owing to the depth of water and bottom slope - but these are well marked.

The masterplan therefore sets out a 'direction of travel' rather than detailed actions with costs and timescales attached. Dart Harbour undertook extensive consultation with all stakeholders in the preparation of this plan, details of which can be found in the appendix . This masterplan represents the position of Dart Harbour in 2026.
