Basement Level- Auxiliary Unit Space Renovation Subject: Basement Level- Auxiliary Unit Space Renovation From: War Memorial Commissioner Date: 12/13/2024, 1:37 AM To: ronaldadietrich@comcast.net, Richard Purcell , Ken Harstine , kevin.m.thomas223@gmail.com, Don Andrejczyk Good day Commander Dietrich, Thank you for taking the time to review this email and our current building upgrades.  As we discussed during our meeting in the past we would like to continue to collaborate with the Auxiliary Police Unit to ensure you feel supported and  are aware we are here to help. The Auxiliary unit has been a long-term member of our Building and it has been our pleasure to be your home base. The Commission would like to set up some time with you to review your Needs/ Wants assessments.  Your feedback would be greatly appreciated!  As shared in my previous email, our new tenants, the Hampden County Sheriff's Department Reentry Program will be our newest tenant occupying the entire second floor.  To help in the preservation of our building and all its spaces they have extended the offer to help provide suggestions and ideas on how to upgrade our spaces and are open and willing to offer some of the work to be done as well.  To begin, I would like to request for you to provide us with your list of needs and wants.   We also would like for you to answer the following questions,so we can better prepare on how to adequately consolidate an appropriate plan for your needs and allow individual room updates. A. Hours of Operations ? Days of the week? B. How many Staff on hand ? C. Of your current spaces, please list the need and use of each space? D. Do you have an active mailbox listing? E. Do you have a need for internet access? Need for Hard wire phone service? F. Are there any other requests you may have at this time? In conclusion we the Commission will be diligently revamping our building access, security system, parking enforcement, parking lot allotments, Code and Key distribution. We are fully aware as one of our long-term occupants your department has been manning the lower lower in its full capacity, moving forward to allow for our displaced tenants and new groups to take on occupancy,  it will be imperative we reallocate the use of the basement to fit the business need to the best of our ability.  Please let me know what your availability would be this month or first few weeks of January so the Commission can set up a meeting with you and the Sheriffs development team. Thank you in advance, Very Respectfully,                    Laddy C. Rua Chairman, War Memorial Commission 310 Appleton St, Holyoke MA Mobile (413)885-0955 E/ commissioner@holyoke.org
