Village of Sackets Harbor/Town of Hounsfield 2025-26 Youth Basketball Signups for Boys and Girls in Grades K-6
Registration must be completed by October 31st.  

Please complete a separate google form (below) for each child you are registering.

Program Information
Grades K-2: Co-ed.  Starts in December.  Will practice once a week (Sundays) for one hour, December- February at the school gymnasium.  The first monthly schedule will be sent out toward the end of November. Basic level skills will be taught.  Rims will be lowered.  Meant to introduce the game in a fun, non-competitive way while focusing on sportsmanship. Each participant receives a t-shirt.  Registration costs $25.

Grades 3-4:  Will be separated into a boys team and a girls team.  Practice sessions will start in November and go into February, and will be held at the school gymnasium, mostly (if not always) on weekends. Games will be scheduled as we go.  Rims will be lowered to 8.5 feet. Each participant receives a t-shirt.  Registration costs $25.  Players may be selected to participate in the Victory Bulldogs league in Watertown in addition to our in-house program.  There may be an additional cost for that league if it is decided to go that route.

I give permission for my child to participate in the Joint Recreation Youth Basketball program.  In the event that I or the below named emergency contact cannot be reached, I hereby grant my child's coach or emergency medical personnel my permission to escort my child to the nearest hospital, in the event of illness or injury that may occur while participating in this sport.  In addition, in my absence, I authorize any certified health care personnel to provide emergency medical treatment, care and medical support to my child.  I also release the Village of Sackets Harbor and the Town of Hounsfield from any liability for an injury that may occur while participating in this league.
