Numbers On Stage. Okay, you’ve got your set of dance numbers ready (see previous blog post), but have to put them on a set with a curved front edge. For musical theatre and when i worked with the rockettes, i’ve used a number line many times.

For musical theatre and when i worked with the rockettes, i’ve used a number line many times. I just roll it up after rehearsal and carry it with me to the next space. These are certainly great for rehearsal, and depending on the complexity of the show, may also be desired for the stage.

I carry mine on every gig as even rolled up i can still enclose it in one fist. That post also included a link to headset chatter’s fantastic free download of dance numbers, as well as the portable number line available for purchase from ben liebert. For musical theatre and when i worked with the rockettes, i’ve used a number line many times. Typically, a zero is placed at center, and then number markings in two feet increments out both sides.
