Your device
Breathing session history, journal entries, onboarding choices, avatar and sound preferences, Circle choices, and cached planetary observations are stored on your device. The app does not upload your journal or breathing history, require an account, or synchronize those records with our servers. To remove all local app records, delete the app (rather than offloading it). Device backups managed by Apple may retain copies according to your backup settings.
Network services
The app requests public planetary observations and presentation settings from Google Cloud Storage, our Google Cloud Run observation API, and NOAA. Requests disclose an IP address and ordinary technical request metadata to the receiving service. These requests do not include your journal, breathing records, name, email, advertising identifier, or precise location. Optional source links open external websites whose policies apply.
Our Google Cloud infrastructure processes technical request and error logs to operate and secure the services. The default Cloud Logging bucket currently retains logs for 30 days. Google and NOAA may also process operational or security information under their own policies and legal requirements. We do not use this information for advertising, cross-app tracking, or profiling your breathing practice.
Voice, payments and analytics
This release includes no AI voice conversations, in-app purchases, advertising SDKs, or third-party analytics SDKs. All breathing techniques are free. Circle companions are a local simulation; the app does not connect you to other people or publish your participation.
Support and your choices
If you email support, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send. Do not send medical information or other sensitive details unless necessary. We use support correspondence to answer your request; contact us to request deletion, subject to any records we must retain by law. We do not sell personal information. Contact us for access, correction, deletion, or other privacy requests concerning information we hold. We cannot read or remove your on-device journal remotely.
Children and wellbeing
The app is a general wellbeing tool and is not designed specifically for children. It does not request a child's identity. Breathing guides and planetary observations are informational and are not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Stop a practice if you feel uncomfortable.
Updates
We will update this page when our practices change. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date and, where required, communicated in the app.
