is the toyota celica a good vehicle? and why is it ls value so low? I've been looking at cars and I stumbled upon the toyota celica, and to me it honestly looks like such a cool car but every toyota celica seems to be cheaper than I'd expect. Is it simply a really bad car or am I just the only one that thinks it should be worth more? As an owner of a 1998 Celica, no I wouldn't recommend it as a first car.

As reliable as Celicas (can be), you have to take their age into consideration now. The youngest Gen 6 is now 24 years old. For a first car you want something that isn't going to have problems and is something easy to drive.

I wouldn't say a Gen 6 is the easiest car to drive when you have no experience. If it isn. Toyota has certainly talked about a new Celica, but it just seems unlikely because the 86 takes the same market segment that it was originally placed in.
