Create a Stunning DIY Round Dining Table for Six

Materials Needed
- 2x4 pressure-treated lumber (for the base)
- 2x12 pressure-treated lumber (for the top)

- 1.25" wood screws

Designing the Table Base
The base of your round dining table will consist of three legs connected by stretchers. For a 60" diameter table, cut the legs from 2x4 lumber at 28" each. Cut the stretchers at 24" each. Use a pocket hole jig to create pocket holes on the inside faces of the stretchers, then attach them to the legs using 2.5" pocket hole screws.
Building the Table Top
For the table top, you'll need a 60" diameter circle. Cut this from a 2x12 board using a jigsaw and a compass or a large circle cutting jig. Sand the top smooth, then attach it to the base using 2" wood screws driven up from the bottom of the base.
Finishing Touches
Attach stainless steel table leg levelers to the bottom of each leg to ensure your table sits level on uneven floors. If desired, stain or paint your table to match your dining room decor. Allow the finish to dry completely before using the table.
