Snoopy's Thanksgiving: A Feast of Love, but Not These Dishes
Thanksgiving is a time for families to gather, share stories, and enjoy a hearty meal together. While Snoopy, the beloved beagle from the Peanuts gang, is known for his love of food, there are a few dishes that you won't find on his Thanksgiving table. Let's explore what Snoopy doesn't serve at his Thanksgiving dinner.
Snoopy's Love for Food, but Not These Dishes
Snoopy, created by Charles Schulz, has a voracious appetite that often leads him to dream of being a chef or opening a restaurant. However, even the most enthusiastic food lover has their limits. Here are some dishes that Snoopy, despite his love for food, doesn't serve at his Thanksgiving dinner.
1. Jelly Beans
While Snoopy has a sweet tooth, he's not a fan of jelly beans. In one Peanuts comic strip, Snoopy is seen throwing a handful of jelly beans into the air, exclaiming, "I hate jelly beans!" So, it's safe to say that these colorful candies won't be making an appearance on his Thanksgiving table.

2. Lima Beans
Snoopy's dislike for lima beans is well-known in the Peanuts universe. In another comic strip, Snoopy is seen trying to sneak lima beans off his plate and onto Lucy's. It's clear that these green legumes are not welcome at Snoopy's Thanksgiving feast.
3. Liver
Snoopy might be a dog, but he's not a fan of liver, a common ingredient in many dog foods. In a Peanuts animated special, Snoopy is seen refusing to eat his liver and onions dinner, preferring instead to dream of dancing with his supper. Needless to say, liver is not on Snoopy's Thanksgiving menu.
Snoopy's Thanksgiving: A Feast of Imagination
Despite the dishes he doesn't serve, Snoopy's Thanksgiving dinner is a feast of imagination and love. Here are some dishes that Snoopy does serve, based on his dreams and fantasies.
4. French Toast
Snoopy loves French toast so much that he's often seen dreaming about it. In one comic strip, he dreams of a world where everything is made of French toast. So, it's a safe bet that French toast is on his Thanksgiving menu.
5. Pizza
Snoopy's love for pizza is well-known. He's been seen dreaming of being a pizza chef and even opening a pizza parlor. Therefore, it's likely that pizza will be served at his Thanksgiving dinner.
6. Snoopy's Supper
Snoopy's favorite food is his supper, which is often depicted as a delicious, steaming plate of unknown but undoubtedly delicious contents. While the specifics of Snoopy's supper are never revealed, it's sure to be the star of his Thanksgiving feast.
Snoopy's Thanksgiving: More Than Just Food
While Snoopy's Thanksgiving dinner might not include jelly beans, lima beans, or liver, it's clear that his feast is about more than just the food. It's a celebration of his imagination, his love for good food, and his bond with his family and friends. After all, as Snoopy himself might say, "Happiness is a warm Thanksgiving dinner with the ones you love."
