Inaugurated in 1927 as a public bathhouse, The Bathhouse Theatre serves as the home venue for The Seattle Public Theater in Seattle. They mainly perform plays based on late 19th century and early 20th century theories. The cozy venue can accommodate up to 165 spectators for a single play.

The Bathhouse Theater's 165-seat capacity has been home to varied theater performances, first as a Seattle Parks and Recreation program and then as the home of Seattle Public Theater starting in 2000.

The Bathhouse Theatre stands at the western side of Green Lake's trail near Aurora Avenue North. There is a large, free parking lot nearby on West Green Lake Drive North, just off of Aurora. The theatre is accessed via a path at the lot's east end.
