I am doing the bathroom at my own home and have been seeing on instagram and TikTok people talking about using "micro cement" in place of tile. I think it looks gorgeous and has zero grout lines. We have a leak somewhere in our bathroom, as made apparent from our downstairs neighbour (we are in a block of flats).

We figure it is an opportunity to redo the whole floor with 'microcement'. We've been given two quotes of the same price: one is cheaper labour, the other is cheaper materials, specifically the microcement.
