Carrie Bradshaw’s Iconic Kitchen Makeover: Paint It Like She Does

Carrie Bradshaw, the stylish New Yorker from Gilmore Girls, turns everyday spaces into reflections of her sophisticated personality—now, imagine bringing her signature touch to your kitchen. Painting your kitchen in the colors and textures she loves isn’t just a refresh; it’s a bold statement of elegance and individuality.

Carrie’s style extends beyond paint—think vintage-inspired hardware, quirky artwork, and curated accessories that tell a story. A charming backsplash, potted herbs on the windowsill, or a statement pendant light elevate the space, blending personal flair with her classic New York charm. These details transform a functional area into a lived-in work of art that feels uniquely yours.

Transforming your kitchen into a Carrie Bradshaw-inspired haven is more than a DIY project—it’s an expression of personal style, elegance, and warmth. By embracing her iconic color palette, rich textures, and thoughtful decor, you craft a space that’s as inviting as it is stylish, proving that even the heart of the home can reflect the best of who you are.

There are also numerous nods to Carrie's new neighborhood, such as a Bernice Abbot photograph and a painting titled Dusk, Gramercy Park by William Crozier. Lastly, in the guest room, there is a drawing of the New York Public Library by Susan Meisel, which represents the artist's and Parker's mutual love for literature and Manhattan. The beloved, retro-style appliance brand is a mainstay in Carrie's home in And Just Like That, and it makes a case for eclectic decorating while proving that the green kitchen can and will endure, despite topping current color trends.
