The will be holding a conversation with the local community on the evening of January 30, to discuss their plans and how they would affect everyone. The coalition plans to build 25 tiny homes in Albany, Oregon, to serve the homeless in the area by charging a rent substantially.

What is Hub City Village? Hub City Village is the actualization of the efforts of Creating Housing Coalition and countless volunteers and supporters throughout the community. It is the first tiny house community in Albany, Oregon that addresses the needs of those in the community that are unhoused or in unstable housing. The village is based on a cooperative self.

The village is built in stages with individual tiny houses in various stages of construction. Framing is complete on the south side of the village. Time to put up the walls and start the roof on the south side.

Our goal is to create 3 tiny home villages that offer permanent housing for Albany's unhoused citizens over the next 10 years. Over time we seek to create a compassionate, connected network of communities throughout the Mid Willamette Valley where dignity is afforded to everyone.
