Yellow Brick House is a shelter that is very close to my heart. I tragically lost my mom to domestic violence when I was just 18 years old and the awareness that Yellow Brick House brings to the community, is preventing more stories like mine. Every year, Yellow Brick House hosts a walk to raise money for women and children affected by domestic violence or abuse.
Last year's walk raised an impressive $118,000 in support of YBH's Public Education program. This program focuses on educating youth in grades 6.
