Thoughts on the 840i? Im thinking of getting a new car. My budget is about $35,000 USD. I love the look of the 8 series and would love to own one, and especially since they offer the base model 840i with B58 which is very reliable, I'm very tempted to pull the trigger.

8 series is not selling. The coupe is the best looking BMW right now imo. 840i is definitely more reliable than m850i.

Actually the power train on 840i would be bullet proof. Looking to move on from my 2020 A5 to either a BMW M440i or an 840i. I am also considering a c43 but given this forum we can put that to one side.

Has any one had experience with both. The m440i seems more engaging but considering they are both coming in around the same price approved used from BMW it's hard to split between the two. I would actually take the one not listed here: The 840i Gran Coupe (RWD).
