I'm still surprised that Megumin is more popular than Aqua as Aqua has better chemistry with Kazuma and they are more proactive as a team in driving the plot and making things happen than any other duo in the show. For some reason Megumin fanart was more popular than the entire anime plot. Sus. To be fair though, most cute characters don't get as widespread as characters like Megumin or Satania or Tsuyu, they have some special trait that makes them especially popular.
