I think they technically work with the trade so you'll need to find an installer, but they put together a pretty reasonable cabinet plan for us with high quality semi. We reviewed the best kitchen cabinet brands, including stock, semi-custom and custom options for all budgets from IKEA, Hampton Bay, Wellbrand and more. Below are Main Line Kitchen Design's up to date cabinet reviews for the top-selling cabinet manufacturers in the United States.
We rate how the manufacturers rate for construction quality and value considering the price point of each cabinet line. Price point is rated from 1 to 6. So, 1 represents the least expensive brands.
From Amazon to Plain English, these are the best kitchen cabinet brands to buy from. We included every style at every price point so you can renovate in style. However, with a few more renovations under my belt, I'm now more likely to recommend something like Granite Expo which is slightly more expensive, and much better quality than IKEA, but nowhere near as expensive as custom cabinets.
This kitchen cost $6500 in cabinetry and I would guess it would only be two thousand or so more from Granite Expo. How is the quality of Lowe's / Home Depot cabinets? I've never renovated a kitchen before and I need a relatively large renovation done. I have a contractor I may use vs using Lowes / Home Depot's subcontractors; however, how are the cabinets from them quality wise?
Have you checked out IKEA? Their cabinets are pretty decent quality, especially for the price. Plus, they come in a bunch of colors, so you can match your wood floors and walls no problem. We will be buying some new kitchen cabinets as part of a remodel soon.
Seems like all of the stuff at home depot and lowes are built using MDF or particle board, which I think I'd like to avoid. Question is, what to buy? There are some sites online that sell ready-to-assemble cabinets and fully assembled cabinets. Also, I found through costco they partnered with a cabinet maker in florida.
Looking for the best value on kitchen cabinets We're buying a house and the kitchen needs a total overhaul. Originally I was leaning towards IKEA and/or Semi Handmade, but the more I looked thru this sub, the less sold I was. Has anyone had them for 5+ years, or found solid wood for a decent price elsewhere?
You can try unfinished-kitchen-cabinets.net. These guys probably have the best customization options I've seen, nice interactive site and prices are very reasonable for the quality you get.
