I don't think the minus color works very well, to be honest. It's a movie filmed for color, and making it monochrome doesn't make it look like old black and white movies, it just makes it look grey and desaturated. The color version is still playing at one theater that is about an hour away from me and in the opposite direction the black and white version is playing at one about 45 minutes away from me.

Minus Color indeed adds a different flavor to the film. But the color version is gorgeous and imo, overall superior. The b&w obscures some of the clarity in the set pieces imo.
