Katiba At 15 Celebrations

Kenya’s 2010 constitution turned 15 in August 2025. In commemoration of 30 years of reflection and encapsulation of the views of the majority of the citizenry, citizens gathered to honour the journey at various spaces around the country, reflecting on stories of resilience, clamour, and the never-ending fight for equity. The Elephant, Alliance Française, Creative Spills, and The Youth Congress came together to celebrate this milestone with their respective communities. The air was laden with a renewed commitment to reflect on the 2010 constitution’s progressive spirit for future generations. Here is a look at the day in pictures.
