Just out of curiosity. I know a darker snake skin wouldn't work, but maybe a paler one? I know you'd have to be real gentle once it's damp or risk tearing it, especially while washing it after being dyed. Does anyone think that it could actually be dyed (and hold the colour) in the first place though?
Can u dye snakeskins?I haven't found a way to dye the skins themselves but I have dyed the wood or sinew before I apply the skins. You can really make the skin colors pop out if you dye with light colors before applying them. Sounds like you have a problem if you are wanting to dye the actual skin though.
