I went from a 2gen Fire TV Cube to a Fire TV MAX for the ARC Passthrough. My Video game sound was getting Passthrough as Dolby 5.1 in the Alexa Home Theater Group. Now with the Fire TV Cube V3 and the HDMI 2.1 input.

I'm getting Dolby Atmos with my Xbox Series X in the theater group. I currently have a Fire TV Stick 4k Max and it is OK but it really lacks in HD clarity when watching some old reruns and vintage TV shows. Would there be any advantage to buying the Fire TV Cube to help with upscaling these old shows?

If it's a secondary tv then just get a ftv stick 4k. The Fire TV Cube is in fact offering 60fps channels on PlayStation Vue. I just checked the Fire TV pendant and it's still locked to 30fps for those same channels.
