Account Deletion — Radhe Radhe
Effective date: 25 May 2026
This page explains how to permanently delete your Radhe Radhe account and what happens to your data when you do. It supplements our Privacy Policy and applies to the Radhe Radhe app (com.houseoftech.radheradhe).
1. How to delete your account in the app
The fastest way to delete your account is inside the app:
- Open Radhe Radhe.
- Go to Settings → Account.
- Scroll to Delete account and tap it.
- Confirm the destructive action in the dialog that appears.
Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. You will be signed out and returned to the welcome screen.
2. If you cannot access the app
Write to yash@houseoftech.ai from the email you registered with, or quote your registered phone number. We will verify ownership and process the deletion within 5 business days.
3. What gets deleted
When you delete your account, we permanently remove:
- Your profile row, including your display name, language preference, profile photo, and admin flag.
- Your phone number, including any OTP records associated with it.
- All Razorpay subscription rows belonging to your account.
- Your profile photo file in our private storage bucket.
The deletion runs in order: we first cancel any active Razorpay subscription (so you are not charged again), then remove your storage objects, then remove your database rows. Each step is logged with your user ID so we can confirm a clean purge if you ask later.
4. What we keep, and for how long
Some records cannot be removed instantly without breaking auditability, fraud prevention, or legal obligations. We keep the following for the durations listed:
| Data | Why we keep it | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Payment transaction records (held by Razorpay) | Statutory financial-records requirement under Indian tax and payment-regulator rules. | 7 years from the transaction date. We do not control this retention; it lives in Razorpay's systems. |
Webhook event fingerprints (processed_webhook_events) | Idempotency protection — prevents replayed webhooks from re-activating a deleted account. Contains only the event ID and subscription ID, no PII. | 90 days, then auto-purged. |
| Application logs containing your user ID | Operational debugging and incident response. | 30 days in Cloud Run logs, then auto-purged. |
| Backup snapshots of our database | Disaster recovery. Your row is removed from live data immediately; it will roll out of the most recent backup within the retention window. | 30 days. |
5. Your active subscription
If you have an active paid subscription when you delete your account:
- We cancel the renewal at Razorpay with the cycle-end flag set, so you are not charged again.
- The current paid period (the one you have already paid for) is closed out, but you will lose access to it the moment you delete because the account itself is gone.
- We do not issue automatic refunds for the unused portion of a current period that you cancelled by deleting the account. See the Refund & Cancellation Policy for refund eligibility.
If you want to cancel a subscription without losing access until the period ends, use Settings → Cancel renewal instead of Delete account.
6. Creating a new account later
There is no waiting period. You can sign up again with the same phone number at any time. A new account starts with no link to the deleted one.
