Cleaning Bathroom Reddit
Hello, this is my first post in this community. I'm new to the whole cleaning thing. What are the major things one should know about how to clean a bathroom, and what are the things one should know about safety, such as gloves, masks, handling/breathing in chemicals, what products to use on specific items etc.
If you could explain it to me as if I'm brand new that would be great. Lots of. Flush toilet and simultaneously rinse toilet brush.
Place brush under the toilet seat to drip into the toilet while air drying. At some point, hours later, I balance it on the waste basket to finish air drying. Wash and dry the floor and the lower part of the toilet tank.
Wash and dry the upper part of toilet tank, vanity countertop, faucet, and sink. Normally the rule is clean top to bottom. Turn on bathroom fan, close door and let it sit.
Rinse off walls with showerhead. Use a toothbrush and clean the grouts and cracks. Get yourself a Scrub Mommy/Daddy or a Mr.
Clean Magic eraser, spray down the tub with cleaner, scrub with hot water to get rid of mineral buildup. Wash off products. Bathroom Tried All Purpose, Don't Want To Use Bleach.

But if I do it this way I don't have to do all the cleaning in my free time. I've heard from blog posts and professional cleaners that you're supposed to clean your bathroom from at least once a week to even after every use, with disinfectant supplies. That's a great list! When deep cleaning my bathroom, I take the toilet seat off to clean under where it connects and also the hinges of the seat itself.
It's amazing how much gunk can accumulate. I clean my bathroom with three products - toilet bowl cleaner, Scrubbing Bubbles, and Windex. First I squirt some toilet bowl cleaner into the toilet, and spray the shower walls with Scrubbing Bubbles.
Then I scrub the inside of the toilet with a toilet brush, and the other toilet surfaces with scrubbing bubbles and paper towel. I hate cleaning bathrooms! I learned two valuable tips from a house cleaner though. Always vacuum the bathroom first - if your vacuum has a lift away pole for tight spots, even better. Also, magic eraser sponges help whatever cleaning product you use work more efficiently.
