It's 10 ounce cotton duck without any waterproofing, fire-resistant coating, or other treatment. I had planned to use the canvas as a washable cover for my bed. A bedspread, but meant to be sat on during the day, possibly spilling food and drink, etc.

I am thinking about trying to hatch out some ducklings for Easter if my testers come back with decent results. I know someone who has had a lot of success with dying the ducklings before they hatch and I was considering asking him to dye some of mine. My sister is a photographer and I was going.

It was always about un-ethical chick dyeing, or bird friendly dye for toys. Another problem is the fact that my pigeon has very, very dark feathers, and I don't know if the dye will actually do anything. There are different grades of Duck (canvas).
