I'm trying to configure two ethernet connections on the same computer running on ubuntu but every attempts that i have made doesn't allow me to enable both ethernet connections at the same time and i don't understand why. Bridging two or more network interfaces involves configuring network settings to combine multiple interfaces into a single logical. Now i would like to connect the webserver to the internal network “network1” also to avoid doing maintenance tasks over the wan network all the time!

I'm setting up a server with 2 network interfaces, i want the main network interface to be the default one to be used, and only use the other. Both has its own separate internet. I'm setting up a server with 2 network interfaces, i want the main network interface to be the default one to be used, and only use the other. For the moment the webserver is connected to the “network2” virtual interface which is the dedicated wan line on the hypervisor and it’s working fine.
