Vintage Receiver Balance Is Off. Initially, i thought it must be the vintage receiver's pots needing a cleaning (which i've been putting off out of sheer laziness). So i buy a vintage rotel receiver.

I hook it up & seem to notice a channel imbalance issue. After a good cleaning of the balance pot with some deoxit, i use the xlo test & burn cd, track 3 (315 hz. Should i be taking my receiver in for repair?

Vintage audio gear—whether it’s amplifiers, turntables, receivers, or tape decks—can develop several types of problems over time. So i buy a vintage rotel receiver. Initially, i thought it must be the vintage receiver's pots needing a cleaning (which i've been putting off out of sheer laziness). Check the fuses, that was the problem with my old sansui stereo receiver, there were a group of 4 fuses , the right channel was also blown so the 2 fuses on the right were blown and the left fuses were fine, i replaced the 2 right fuses and now both channels work great.
