The E60 M5 was introduced in 2004 and is the only M5 to feature a V10 engine, the S85 5.0L engine is linked with the BMW Sauber F1 team. A Touring variant (E61) was available for the European market. A 6-speed manual option was offered but it's very rare in mainly only found in the US.
