I know there has been much info scattered around many threads regarding the BMW-Installed Dinan tune. I have questions for those that have it 1. How long have you run the car with it? How is your car running as a result; maintenance issues? Problems? MPG? 2.

Is the tune plug/play? In. There is huge variance in the quality and usefulness of Dinan parts. Some parts are made in China, some are American, and some are German.
Some parts are great like ignition coils, others are total wastes of money like the M62 "performance" intake manifold, which is actually just a BMW factory original M60 manifold with a Dinan stamp on it. twitter Facebook Digg Google StumbleUpon del.icio.us My Yahoo! In the process of rebuilding a N62B48tu I know but idc I still love this engine, my last one almost hit 210k while being driven hard in Texas heat most of its life.
Anyways, even though I could probably save a few 100 cutting corners by re. How reliable are Dinan upgrades in the long run? I'm in the market for a 5-series as my 335i isn't going to cut it with kids on the way. My dealer has a 2011 550i with 26k for $47k.
It has all available options including rear set DVD which according to kbb puts it around $52k so it is already a decent value.
