About Preikestolen
Preikestolen, or the Pulpit Rock, is a massive cliff that towers 604 meters above the Lysefjord in the Stavanger region of Norway. Its flat top, measuring around 25 by 25 meters, provides a breathtaking panoramic view of the fjord and the surrounding mountains. The unique rock formation is a result of the erosion of softer layers of sandstone, leaving the hard, resistant layers exposed.
