The BMW 3.0 CS was a variant of the BMW New Six Coupe (E9) that was introduced in 1971. The 3.0 CS was introduced alongside its fuel-injected sibling, the 3.0 CSi, with both these cars replacing the 2800 CS. Unlike the CSi, the 3.0 CS featured a carbureted version of the BMW M30 inline six engine used in both cars.
