Sailor Moon Original Colors

Many fans associate the original Sailor Moon anime with a soft, pink aesthetic, and there are very specific reasons that they do so-partly because of the anime's dreamy color palette, and partly because of the way the early cel animation was preserved. This is such a shame.

Something that always interested me was the fact that the Ribbons on the senshi dresses are not uniformly colored. Venus has a blue front ribbon, yellow back ribbon, mars has purple front, and red back. Jupiter and Mercury have the same colors in front and back.
