Group 5 madness scaled down In fact, the factory first used the CSL and then switched right away to the newly introduced E21 coupe in 1977.
The 2002, then, was merely a car used by some privateers although a top BMW tuner by the name of Schnitzer was at the forefront of the 2002 development in racing.
