In 2002, under the leadership of Zoran Zorneke, the first car boasting G-POWER HURRICANE character was presented to the tuning world: the G-POWER G3M CSL E46, with a 5.0L V10 S85B50 from the BMW M5 E60 and a performance enhancement up to 530 hp. German tuning shop G-POWER is saying goodbye to the current generation F90 M5 with a new product.
Dubbed G5M Hurricane RR, this tuned up M5 now makes 900 horsepower and a maximum torque of 1,050 Nm. While BMW's M Division unveiled the new-generation M5, tuners keep upgrading its predecessor. In this instance, the business super sedan has tapped into its hyper side courtesy of G.
The German tuner G-Power is specialized for BMW models, and its latest work is the pride of the Bavarian company, the BMW M5 CS. It is the most powerful high-performance sports sedan and G-Powers response to Brabus' most powerful AMG E-Class, the G5M CS Hurricane RR. In Hurricane RR spec, the twin-turbocharged 4.4-litre V8 puts out 1,050Nm, 300Nm more than the standard BMW M5 CS (F90).
To achieve such a powerful state of tune, G-Power gave the V8 new forged pistons, connecting rods and different air coolers. Just like the regular M5, the latter is powered by the same 4.4-liter V-8 engine, but in the CS, the output is increased to 627 horsepower and 553 pound.
