From what I understand MAX Cooling mode should be used only when you are specifically tracking or dragging your car to help keep temps down, but that using it 100% of the time just wears out your cooling system more quickly. Might be OK to run if you live like in the southern US where its regularly 90+ degrees F in the summers. 2019+ BMW X5 (G05) and X6 (G06) Forum BMW X5M / X6M Forum (F95 / F96) Oil temp stays low with Max Cooling Mode in Bootmod3 Thread Tools.
Why I Still Run Max Cooling Mode After Saying It's Bad B58 Oil Pump DIY and Upgrade + The Future of Vehicular DIY Why Allison is DONE With GM. NextGen Says It's Worse Than You Think. Just wanted to ask about this.
My M4 has been off the road for the winter so I haven't tried this yet. I'm curious as I noticed my car was running hotter than it used to since installing BM3(stage 1 93 octane). It never passed the halfway point on the oil temps but made me wonder.

Just looking for info on the sport and race cooling mode options on MHD app. Target temps and how it works etc. Also are there any downsides to using these modes? Any help much appreciated.
