The dynamic mode doesn't cancel the DTC. With the dynamic pro mode you are able to cancel DTC. The throttle response cannot go higher on the dynamic pro mode, the throttleresponseis on the higheston dynamicmode.

DYNAMIC PRO: Dynamic riding on a dry road surface with provision for the rider's custom settings. The respective optimum interplay of engine characteristic, ABS control, ASC/DTC control and dynamic engine brake control is provided for each of these scenarios. The available Dynamics package, including Riding Modes Pro and Shift Assistant Pro, offers improved control and athleticism.
You choose the riding mode to suit the situation - "Rain" for wet and "Road" for dry surface conditions. With "Dynamic", you get the max out of your F 900 GS on the asphalt. "Enduro" sets your bike up for off.
As for the more oomph you mention, I have the model where I have access to "Dynamic Pro" mode where you're able to customize engine breaking, throttle response, ABS sensitivity, and all that. I cranked up the throttle response and it's pretty peppy. All around a good motorcycle.
