The new BMW M5 Touring MotoGP™ Safety Car remains on display in Bangkok until the start of the 2025 MotoGP™ season before making its on. BMW has transformed the new M5 wagon (G99) into a MotoGP Safety Car, which will share duties with the M5 sedan (G90) during the 2025 season. This is a special performance car based on the fire-breathing BMW M5 Touring that dropped in November 2024. Packing an M Hybrid powertrain, it's the third-latest BMW M model to get the electrified treatment. With its twin motors working in harmony, this beast cranks out a massive 727 hp and a tire-twisting 737 lb-ft of torque.

But, BMW didn't stop there. To prepare it for racetrack use, the BMW M5 Touring MotoGP™ Safety Car has been modified accordingly. The livery, like that of the BMW M5 MotoGP™ Safety Car, is inspired by the design of the BMW M Hybrid V8 race cars competing in the FIA World Endurance Championship and the IMSA series in North America.
