When activated, this button allows the engine to generate higher boost. the g-limited was the entry model for the mr2, it's just a model name, if you have the auto there was only one real spec available which was the lower powered of the mk2 mr2 models althought there was a manual g-limited as well available in either the uk, us or jap markets. I lengthened the horn wire and ground, got a nifty little button from Radioshack, drilled a hole in one of my switch panels, and viola! The cruise control wasn't quite a perfect fix, but it works now and damn does it feel good. The small red button when depressed will allow you to move the gear stick out of park mode when the car is not running without putting your foot on the brake. MANU mode makes the auto shift up a gear sooner in the rev range. I have this button with a hole next to it, 2004 mrs RHD ofc, can someone tell me what's the purpose of this button and what fills the hole next to it?
What red are MR2's? Depends on what MK MR2 you have but the MK3 (2000 onwards) I believe is Chilli red. The '91 and '92 Mk II MR2's were Super Red. As a newcomer a MR2 Automatic ownership I wonder if one or other of you kind souls might like to throw a little light onto one or two areas where some 'translation' might be of use?!?
