Based on the results of this study, we first time confirmed that cockroach Blaptica dubia Seville 1983, a member of cockroach family (Blattodea: Blaberidae), biodegrades polystyrene plastics at high rate with half-life on hourly basis.
Therefore, the purpose of this study is to evaluate the utility of orange spotted (OS) cockroaches (Blaptica dubia) in early antibiotic characterization.

This is investigation is novel research because we are one of the first to study Dubia Roaches. We measured the Dubia Roaches' carbon dioxide output at various temperatures to measure their metabolic rate.

Therefore, the purpose of this study is to evaluate the utility of orange spotted (OS) cockroaches (Blaptica dubia) in early antibiotic characterization.
