- I just bought a new MacBook Pro m4 and my old MacBook Pro 2018 will be retired. I heard a lot of positive things about Windows 11 and plan to install Windows 11 on my old Mac (Intel i7, 512GB SSD, 16GB RAM and Radeon Pro 555X graphics).

I know Windows 11 does not support Apple Silicon Mac by default and I am very aware of that. However, my 2019 MacBook is powered by an Intel i7 processor and it is supposed to run Windows without any issue. In fact, I did this with Windows 11 on another MacBook Air without any issue.

To install Windows 11, run Parallels Desktop, then click on the Parallels icon in the Mac menu bar > Control Center > + > Get Windows 11 from Microsoft > Continue > Install Windows.
