Keep florida's futurebrightTogether with the Florida Department of Education (FDOE), the Florida Lottery has helped over 1 million scholars and counting receive a postsecondary education through theBrightFutures Scholarship program. TheBrightFutures Scholarship supports the academic pursuits of students who are studying for their first associate, bachelor's, or graduate degree. Applicants who demonstrate financial need are welcome to apply. ReceivingBrightFutures services is a choice. You can decide to leave foster care when you turn 18. You can also change your mind and return before age 21 in order to receive extended services and support, provided you meet the requirements. What Is theBrightFutures Scholarship Program? TheBrightFutures program offers merit-based scholarships to Florida residents who stay in Florida for college or vocational school (unfortunately, you won't be eligible for an award if you attend college out of state).
