January 5, 2026 -Other than the first kit which lasts for three months, the other Lovevery play kits for the first year are designed for a 2-month period. They each have names which hint at the skills they will encourage development of. For example, the 5-6 month play kit is titled The Senser, while the 11-12 month play kit is called The Thinker.
Once your child reaches 12 months, the kits are delivered every three months. ... The items are made from robust and sustainably materials.
June 17, 2024 -On the face of it, this is an awful lot to pay for a Play Kit comprising of 6-8 toys and a ‘play guide’. In fact, based on 6 toys, that’s an average of £20 a toy. Given that so many of us are now buying secondhand or renting toys, the price seems ludicrous.
... Lovevery create the gold standard of toys. March 20, 2024 -But once I got my hands on the toys, I thought it was worth every penny.
My kids playing with the Wooden Modular Village & Pathways from The Connector Play Kit for months 49, 50, 51. You just don’t see this kind of quality anymore – most toys these days are thin plastic. Even the play guides were very well put together.
As a writer, I’m always impressed when manuals or guides are thought out and written well. Lovevery really knocked it out of the park. November 16, 2022 -The play kits are subscription-based toy boxes with items specifically designed to give kids what they need at each stage of life from newborn to age 4.
Long story short, I ended up subscribing to the Lovevery play kits, I personally think they’ve been worth it. March 29, 2025 -When I first learned about Lovevery play kits from @theeagertraveller, I was surprised by the price. I wasn’t sure if they would be worth it but I decided to give it a go since I could cancel the subscription any time.
Fast forward 17 months, and I am so glad I found them. My husband and I, who are both working parents, have peace of mind that everything we need to know about our children’s development is taken care of. December 4, 2023 -This set is unique as it makes it easy for a child to look at the domino and identify the number of the dots without having to count them one by one.
How? On the back, they have finger counts, ten frames, and images with different objects. As usual, both kits we try also come with age-appropriate game ideas that parents can use when playing with their children. One thing that surprised me was that everyone always raves about Lovevery books, but the ones included in 4 year old kits were a total fail for my son.
June 7, 2022 -As with everything else with parenting, ... just fine without it, too. ...If you're looking for a one-off, curated toy box to give as a gift, the Lovevery Play Kits are definitely worth the money....

We got the playmat and absolutely loved it, and I think the 3 month box. We didn’t get the other ones because a lot of the 12 month and under kits had toys that were quite similar to ones that we got as gifts. February 13, 2024 -Quality-wise it’s surely worth the price, but if you think about it: it’s just a piece of nice birch wood.
Holden’s favorite. However, we got various kits earlier & he was mostly into this toy around 9 months and lost interest by 12 months, a month before the toy was supposed to arrive if we did it on Lovevery schedule
