Dark Green Space Marines

This is a pictorial list of known Space Marine Chapters (A-L) created by Games Workshop. It does not include the nine Traitor Legions. However, it does include Renegade Chapters of Chaos Space Marines as well as those Space Marine Chapters considered Excommunicate Traitoris by the High Lords of Terra, whether they serve the Dark Gods or not.

This cannot be considered a complete list as not. After the Horus Heresy, the loyal Space Marine Legions were split into smaller Chapters of a thousand Space Marines, in order to prevent any one person from being able to control so many troops ever again. Over time, the number of chapters has grown, and is said to number a thousand.

This is a pictorial list of the chapters named by Games Workshop in official texts, and does not include any. Space Marine Chapters Sorted by Color I created this to see what kind of combinations existed in the canon chapters. Perhaps I missed a few, but hope it's helpful to others.

All Warhammer 40,000's main Space Marine armies explained, from the original Space Marine Legions to modern Primaris successor chapters. So I've recently come into possession of a second hand space marine army and am wondering if they are a pure homebrew scheme, or a canon chapter. Their power armor is almost entirely black with green shoulder pauldrons and knee pads.They also use white helmets to signify veterans and red helmets to signify sergeants.

All of the characters are either bare headed, or have red helmets as well. The Dark Eagles is a Loyalist Codex Astartes-compliant Space Marine Chapter of unknown genetic origin and Founding, though it is suspected of being a rare Successor Chapter of the Raven Guard. It hails from the world of Moriorum.

The Dark Eagles primarily wear olive. SPACE MARINE IMPLANTS In addition to chemical treatment, hypnotherapy, and training, nineteen organs were developed during the original creation of the superhuman breed known as Space Marines. The Dark Sons wear quartered green-and-white power armour with a gold imperialis.

[4] [6] Company affiliation is denoted by the colour of the Marine's right kneepad. In early, Rogue Trader-era art, the Dark Angels wore black with red accents. According to this great thread on the topic, the cover of White Dwarf 117 featured a painting of Dark Angels Space Marines that seems to show them wearing green.

The Dark Crusaders is a Loyalist Space Marine Chapter of unknown origins and Founding. The Dark Crusaders primarily wear dark olive-drab green power armour. The Aquila or Imperialis on the chest as well as the shoulder pauldron inserts are bone.

The black squad specialty symbol -- battleline, close support, fire support, Veteran, and command.
